Poles have begun purchasing iodine capsules privately amid fears the conflict in neighbouring Ukraine may spark a nuclear twist of fate.
Attacks across the Zaporizhzhia nuclear energy plant — occupied by way of Russian forces — have raised fears of a crisis.
The International Atomic Energy Agency has for weeks been calling for a security zone to be established across the plant.
