Yuvraj Singh On Test Cricket: Is the future of Test cricket in danger? This question has been a topic of discussion for the last several years. In fact, the popularity of T20 cricket among fans and new T20 leagues around the world is being cited as the reason. However, most of the former players believe that there is no threat to this oldest format of cricket from T20. Test cricket is completely safe in the future. Now on this question, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has given a big statement.
‘Money is too much in T20 cricket’
Yuvraj Singh believes that at present, the audience is liking T20 cricket more. The excitement of Test cricket is waning. He said that nowadays people want to play and watch more and more T20 cricket. Yuvi said that since money is more in T20 cricket, the cricketers of today’s era are also running towards T20 cricket. He said in a questioning tone that in today’s time why would any cricketer want to play for 5 days for 5 lakh rupees. Whereas in T20 cricket, money is available in crores in a short time.
Yuvraj Singh said that at present there are many such players who are not playing at the international level, but are earning 7-10 crores by playing T20 cricket. Most of the countries that play Test cricket have their own T20 leagues. At the same time, Yuvi believes that the way T20 cricket is spreading, people are less liking not only Test cricket but also ODI cricket. Let us tell you that Yuvraj Singh is the only Indian player to hit 6 sixes in 6 consecutive balls. At the same time, apart from this, Yuvraj Singh was selected Player of the Tournament in T20 World Cup 2007 and 50-50 World Cup 2011.
