A significant drug trafficking community working throughout central Alentejo has been busted through the Public Security Police (PSP) of Évora, following a sweeping operation that prolonged to Montemor-o-Novo, Lisbon and Samora Correia.
The year-and-a-half investigation culminated within the arrest of 13 suspects – 9 males and 4 girls elderly between 19 and 45. Six stay in custody.
Authorities seized an estimated 135,695 doses of cannabis, 697 doses of cocaine and 85 of ecstasy.

The crackdown started with an arrest in Évora and escalated with 29 coordinated seek warrants achieved around the area, together with the Santarém District.
