Dutch prosecutors have arrested extra suspects in reference to the homicide of well known crime reporter Peter R de Vries.
A 30-year-old guy used to be detained in Poland on Monday on suspicion of serving to get ready the homicide.
Prosecutors mentioned the person is assumed to have lived within the Dutch port town of Rotterdam on the time of the killing.
De Vries used to be fatally shot on 6 July 2021 in large sunlight in central Amsterdam after leaving a tv studio.
The 64-year-old died of his accidents 9 days later, prompting a national outpouring of grief and anger.
Two males are these days on trial for the homicide — a 21-year-old Dutch nationwide known most effective as Delano G. and a 36-year-old Polish nationwide, Kamil E.
Both males are dealing with existence sentences if convicted. The investigation into de Vries’ demise is ongoing and a number of other different suspects had been detained in fresh months.
Only July 26, a 27-year-old guy used to be arrested within the southern Dutch town of Helmond. Prosecutors have accused him of collaborating in a felony organisation that used to be paid to hold out violent assaults.
Earlier that month, a 27-year-old Polish guy used to be detained on suspicion of establishing the killing and “directing those who carried out the murder”.
According to native media, the suspect used to be already in custody on suspicion of some other homicide in October.
Meanwhile, two extra Dutch suspects had been detained in another country at the similar day — a 27-year-old guy within the former Caribbean colony of Curaçao and a 26-year-old guy in Spain.
