An explosion tore via a block of residences in Jersey Saturday morning, killing one and leaving round a dozen other people lacking.
The blast came about simply sooner than 05:00 CET on Pier Road in St Helier, the capital of the Channel Island.
Two other people have been hospitalised, with locals reporting a noisy bang and thick plumes of smoke emerging prime into the air all over the early hours of the morning.
