India vs Afghanistan in Asian Cup 2023 Qualifiers: In the match played between India and Afghanistan in Kolkata on Saturday night, there were fierce kicks and punches. Here the players of both the teams clashed with each other. This incident happened after the result came in this qualifier match being played for Asian Cup 2023.

In this match, the Indian team won by scoring in the last moments. The Afghan players could not digest the same thing and came in frustration and clashed with the Indian players. Initially, this tussle started between two-three players, but gradually the matter increased so much that more than half of the players from both the sides got involved in this fight. The players sitting on the bench also came on the field during this time. First, there were bribes between some players and then kicks started going on.

India’s victory came in the last moments
This match was very interesting. There was an equal competition between both the teams. No goal was scored in the match till 84 minutes. In the 85th minute, Sunil Chhetri of India scored on a free kick to give the Indian team the lead. However, this lead lasted only 3 minutes and Afghan player Zubair Amiri made a header in the 88th minute to level the match. India’s Abdul Samad scored a brilliant goal in the Injury Time (90 + 2) to give India victory.

India at number two in Group D
In the final qualifying round of the Asian Cup 2023, the Indian team has come second in the Group-D match. Hong Kong is running at number one.
