Telegram’s tagline will change
A recent report said, “Users who downloaded the app are seeing the tagline – “Telegram will be free forever, no ad no fee”. However, this may change soon.” In the latest update of Telegram, the code for the upcoming version of the Telegram app has been spotted online with a different tagline except the free slogan. These new strings hint that the company may be testing another method for the app to generate revenue.
Will telegram show ads too?
Well-known developer Alessandro Paluzzi (@alex193a) on Twitter suggested that Telegram may be changing the initial tagline of the app to launch its paid version soon. The new data strings shared by the developer include a new tagline “Telegram offers free unlimited cloud storage for chat and media.” This tweet also shows that the company also has a plan to show advertisements to the logo. Telegram is also going to unlock extra stickers with premium subscription.
