Shehbaz Sharif Meets Nawaz Sharif In London: Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif met his elder brother and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in London. The photo of the meeting of the two has been shared on Twitter by Nawaz Sharif’s daughter and PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb had said on Tuesday that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will be part of a group of leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) who will travel to the UK to meet party supremo Nawaz Sharif. Maryam Aurangzeb said, “PML-N members are going on a personal visit to London to meet Nawaz Sharif.” At the same time, the Information Minister also said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will also visit for the same purpose. He said this is a “private visit” which is being done for the purpose of consultation with PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif.

The meeting between the Sharif brothers comes at a time when ousted Prime Minister Imran Khan has been holding back-to-back large rallies to pressure the government to announce the election ahead of time.

Political and economic issues will be discussed
Pakistani media reports quoted “insiders” as saying that Nawaz Sharif has called an “emergency meeting” of party leaders to discuss matters relating to the economy and the country’s current political situation, among important issues facing the country. . According to the newspaper, insiders further said that the ruling party is expected to take some “big decisions” regarding the fate of the PML-N-led coalition government.

Recently Nawaz has been issued a new Pakistani passport

Significantly, many corruption cases were started against Nawaz Sharif by the government of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Nawaz Sharif left for London in November 2019 after the Lahore High Court allowed him to go abroad for his treatment.
