Ratan Tata: Ratan Tata, Honorary Chairman of the Tata Group, has been conferred with the Honorary Degree of D.Litt by HSNC University in Maharashtra for his incomparable contribution to the society. The Governor of Maharashtra and the Chancellor of this university, Bhagat Singh Koshyari, conferred this degree on Ratan Tata at the special convocation ceremony of the university on Saturday.

Ratan Naval Tata is the current chairman of the Tata group and Ratan Tata was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India in 2000 in the field of industry and trade.
