Punjabi Palak Quick Recipe: You can easily try this quick recipe of Punjabi spinach prepared with spinach, moong dal and curd. Healthy Punjabi Spinach is a dish rich in protein and iron. You can eat it for dinner or lunch. Know how to make-
1 cup boiled moong dal
3 green chilies finely chopped
Spinach (washed and dried)
salt to taste
2 tsp curd
2 onions (finely chopped)
1 finely chopped ginger
4 tsp mustard oil
method of preparation
To make Punjabi Palak, take a pan. Heat mustard oil on low-medium flame. Add onions and green chilies and fry for 30 seconds.
When the onion changes color to light pink, then slow down the flame. Add spinach and ginger to it. Stir all the ingredients well and cook it covered for a few minutes.
Now remove the lid and add moong dal and salt as per taste in the same pan. Mix it well. Now add some water to it and cook for a minute.
Switch off the flame and add curd to the spinach and mix it well. Now let the curd set for a few seconds and cover the pan with a lid.
Remove the lid and keep the dish in a serving bowl. It can be eaten with roti, paratha, steamed rice and raita.
