Texas Gov. Greg Abbott stated Wednesday that migrants bused out of state are given voluntary consent waivers and don’t seem to be — as New York City Mayor Eric Adams has alleged — being compelled onto the buses.
The Republican governor, together with his Arizona counterpart, Doug Ducey, has enraged Adams and Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser by means of sending 1000’s of migrants to their towns. They’ve each stated the motion is to protest the Biden management’s border insurance policies.
After round 40 migrants arrived on the Big Apple on Sunday, Adams stated one of the migrants “wanted to go to other locations and they were not allowed to do so.”
“They were forced on the bus with the understanding that they were going to other locations that they wanted to go,” Adams stated.
