Rashid Latif on Virat Kohli: Till 2019, Virat Kohli was performing consistently well. During this, consecutive centuries were coming out of his bat. However, not a single century has come out of Virat Kohli’s bat after this. Till 2019, Kohli had scored 70 centuries in all formats of cricket. After which the fans hoped that soon he would break Sachin’s record too. However, after this Kohli has been struggling with poor form. In such a situation, former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif has given a big statement about Kohli:

‘They are going through a bad phase’

Talking about Kohli’s form on his YouTube show ‘Caught Behind’, he said that every player goes through this phase at some point or the other. He soon comes out of it too, but this time has been long for Virat. Everyone knows Kohli, when he is in form, he scores a lot of runs. The way he was performing earlier, after that it seemed that he could break Sachin’s record. He had scored so many centuries very quickly. He was at the peak of his game during that time. After this came his bad phase, which is at its peak at this time.

‘They have to come out themselves’

Talking about Kohli, he said that he himself has to come out of this phase. Everyone has faith in Kohli that he will return to form. In such a situation, Kohli will also have to believe in himself once again. In the match against Gujarat, he also showed it by doing this. He had drives well and played Shami well. In such a situation, if he can continue playing like this, then he will soon return to form.

Kohli has not done anything special this season. He is constantly battling for runs. In this season, only half-century has come from his bat.
