Ingredients for making Tamarind Rice
- Rice – 2 cups boiled
- Urad Dal Dhuli – 1 tbsp
- Roasted Peanuts – cup
- Tamarind paste – 4 tbsp
- Green chili – 2 chopped
- Jaggery – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – half teaspoon
- Rai – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Red chili – 2 dry
- Curry leaves – 4-5
- salt according to taste
Tamarind Rice Recipe
1- First of all, sprinkle turmeric and salt over the rice and mix them well.
2- Now heat the pan and fry the urad dal and peanuts in it on medium flame.
3- When the lentils become light golden, then put curry leaves, mustard seeds, green chilies and red chilies in the oil.
4- Make them like fry for about 1 minute.
5- Now add asafetida, jaggery and tamarind paste to it. Add salt and mix everything.
6- Now cook the prepared mixture till it becomes thick.
7- Now add turmeric mixed rice to it and mix well.
8- Tamarind Tasty Rice is ready.
9- You can eat them in breakfast or anytime with food.
