Ingredients for Palak Paneer
- 500 grams – Spinach
- 300 grams – Paneer
- 4- Tomato
- 1- Green chili
- 1 inch – piece of ginger
- 1/2 tsp – cumin
- 2 pinch- Asafoetida
- 1/4 tsp – turmeric
- 1/4 tsp – red chili powder
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp – Besan
- 1/4 tsp – garam masala
- 2 tbsp – coriander leaves
- 2 tsp fresh cream
Palak Paneer Recipe
1- To make Palak Paneer, first clean the spinach and wash the leaves thoroughly.
2- Now put spinach and 1 little water in a vessel, cover it and boil it on low flame for 5 minutes.
3- When the spinach cools down, put it in a mixer and grind it.
4- Now cut the paneer into square pieces. If you want, you can also fry the paneer lightly.
5- Now heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add asafoetida, cumin seeds and fry it.
6- Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder and gram flour to the oil and fry it a little.
7- Now add tomato paste, ginger, green chili paste and mix it and also add red chili powder.
8- Fry the spices until the spices leave the oil. It will take about 5 minutes to fry the masala.
9- When the masala is fried, add ground spinach to it and add 2-3 spoons of water.
10- Add salt, garam masala to it and mix all the things well.
11- When the vegetable comes to a boil, cut pieces of paneer into it and cover it for 2 minutes and cook on slow flame.
12- Palak Paneer vegetable is ready. Garnish it by adding 1 tsp of cream and butter. Eat hot vegetable with roti, naan, paratha or rice.
