IPL 2022: Shines in the Under-19 World Cup, remains colorless in IPL, this is the first season of these four Indian stars

U19 Cricketers in IPL 2022: For the Indian players who made a splash in the Under-19 World Cup 2022, this season of IPL has proved to be colorless so far. Four star Indian players of the Under-19 World Cup 2022 got buyers in the mega auction. It was expected that these players would explode in the IPL as well, but three out of these four players did not even get a chance to debut. One player got a chance to debut but he was dropped from the playing XI after two matches.

1. Yash Dhul: Yash Dhul was the captain of the Indian team in the Under-19 World Cup 2022. India won this title under his captaincy. In the semi-final match, Yash had taken his team to the final by scoring a brilliant century against Australia. After this Yash was also included in the Ranji team of Delhi, where he scored a century in the first match itself. In the IPL Mega Auction, Delhi Capitals bought Yash for 50 lakhs but till now he has not got a chance to play a single IPL match.

2. Raj Angad Bawa: Raj Bawa, who was the ‘Player of the Match’ in the final match of the Under-19 World Cup 2022, was bought by Punjab Kings in the IPL Mega Auction for 2 crores. Punjab included them in their playing XI in 2 matches but it was not effective. Raj could only score 11 runs in these two matches. Raj was the second highest run-scorer of the Indian team in the Under-19 World Cup. He scored 252 runs in 5 innings of 6 matches while remaining unbeaten once. During this his batting average was 63 and striker rate was more than 100. He also got 9 wickets.

3. Rajvardhan Hangargekar: Rajvardhan Hangargekar, who was seen playing long sixes and quick innings in the Under-19 World Cup, was made a part of his squad by Chennai Super Kings. Hangargekar was sold for 1.5 crores but till now Chennai has not made him a part of their playing XI even once. Rajvardhan is an expert in batting as well as in bowling fast.

4. Vicky Ostwal: Vicky Ostwal was the highest wicket-taker for India in the Under-19 World Cup 2022. He got 12 wickets in 6 matches. Delhi Capitals included Vicky in their squad for his base price of 20 lakhs. Vicky has also not got a chance to debut in this season.
