Virat Kohli Ab de Villiers Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL 2022: Former Royal Challengers Bangalore player AB de Villiers has made many big records in IPL. He has given his team victory by performing brilliantly on many occasions. But de Villiers retired from all forms of cricket last year. However, now once again he can appear in the IPL. Virat Kohli hopes that his friend de Villiers will return to the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in some role next year.
In a light-hearted conversation on RCB’s Twitter handle, Kohli said, “I miss him a lot. I talk to him regularly. He recently went to America to watch golf with his family. He monitors RCB’s performance and is expected to be with the team in some role next year.”
Faf du Plessis took over after Kohli left the captaincy of RCB. Kohli said, “Faf and I have a lot of respect for each other. We have a very good rapport.”
Significantly, de Villiers’ IPL career has been excellent. However, now he will be seen in a new role after his return. De Villiers has scored 5162 runs in 184 matches. During this, he has scored 3 centuries and 40 half-centuries. De Villiers’ best score in IPL has been 133 runs. He has hit 413 fours and 251 sixes in this tournament. De Villiers has batted strongly with Kohli on many occasions.
