Integrated Pension Portal: In order to make the life of pensioners easier, the central government is contemplating to create an Integrated Pension Portal. The Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) of the Central Government is working towards making this portal in partnership with the country’s largest public sector bank State Bank of India.

The Central Government believes that there is a need to create an Integrated Pension Portal by linking the existing portals of the Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) and SBI, so that all services can be provided to the pensioners easily. . It is believed that through this portal Digital Life Certificate and Face Authentication Technology can prove to be a game changer for pension holders. Also, the difficulties in submitting the life certificate can be easy.

In fact, during a program in Udaipur, Rajasthan, discussions were held regarding pension policy reform and digitization regarding pension distribution to central government pensioners. In which field officers of SBI also participated. Issues related to pensioners regarding income tax matters and submission of Annual Life Certificates through digital medium were also discussed. There are plans to run awareness programs with other banks issuing similar pensions.

Actually every year pensioners have to submit their life certificate i.e. Jeevan Pramaan Patra, otherwise their pension is stopped. If the life certificate is submitted before the fixed deadline, then the pension continues, otherwise the pension does not come in the account. Due to which the difficulties of pensioners dependent on pension increase.

You can apply for SBI (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB), Canara Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Bank of Baroda (BoB), Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab and Sind Bank, Central Bank of India, Union Bank of India You can submit life certificate through door step banking of UCO Bank and Indian Bank.
