Gautam Gambhir On Dinesh Karthik: The Indian team had to face defeat in the first T20 match against South Africa. In this match, the Indian team led by Rishabh Pant failed to defend 211 runs. David Miller and Rasi van der Dussen played brilliant innings for South Africa. There was a partnership of 131 runs between the two players for the fourth wicket. Also in this match all-rounder Hardik Pandya and wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik returned to the Indian team.

‘Deepak Hooda should get a chance in place of Dinesh Karthik’

After the loss in the first T20 match against South Africa, former Indian player Gautam Gambhir believes that there should be a change in the Indian team for the second T20 to be held in Cuttack. Actually, Gautam Gambhir said that Deepak Hooda should be included in the playing XI instead of Dinesh Karthik. He said that at the moment the Indian team can take the field with Dinesh Karthik, but I feel that Deepak Hooda should definitely be included in the playing XI. He further said that apart from this change, there is no need for any other change in the Indian team.

‘Indian team can go with Ravi Bishnoi’

The former Indian opener said that the Indian team can include Ravi Bishnoi in the playing XI instead of any pacer. He said that apart from 2 fast bowlers, Hardik Pandya can play the role of third pacer. Gautam Gambhir said that since the grounds will not be big, due to this, the Indian team should go with 2 leg spinners. So that, better attacking option is available. Gautam Gambhir believes that leg-spinners can play an important role on smaller grounds.
