India vs South Africa: The second match of the 5 T20 match series between India and South Africa will be played at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack on Sunday. After losing the first match of the series by 7 wickets, now the Indian team is practicing fiercely. The T20 series is being seen as a preparation for the T20 World Cup to be held this year. In the last T20 World Cup, Team India was out of the group stage itself.
Focus on T20 World Cup
Before the second match of the T20 series, Indian vice-captain Hardik Pandya is working hard. He said that at present his entire focus is on the T20 World Cup. Although he also wants to win the T20 series against South Africa. On the selection in the T20 team, Pandya said that ‘I am obviously very excited. Playing for the country has always been special. I have worked really hard to come back after such a long break and get a chance to come back afresh. Doing good for the country is more important and that gives me a lot of happiness.

Great performance in IPL
T20 World Cup is to be played in Australia this year. All-rounder Hardik Pandya can play an important role in this. He also performed brilliantly in the recently concluded 15th season of IPL. Pandya had won the title for his team Gujarat in the debut season itself. Hardik scored 487 runs in 15 matches of IPL 2022 at an average of 44.27 and strike rate of 131.26. Apart from this, he also took 8 wickets in his name.
