HUL Price Hike: HUL hikes prices, products like shampoo-soap-powder costlier by up to 15 percent

HUL Price Hike: According to media reports, the country’s largest FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) brand HUL (Hindustan Unilever Limited) has increased the prices of its products. From Lux soap to Clinique Plus shampoo and Pond’s talcum powder, everything has become expensive. In this way, the lower and middle class, which are constantly facing inflation, have to bear another blow.

Know how much the price has increased

In the shampoo category, the price of Sunsilk shampoo has been increased by Rs 8 to 10 and the price of Clinique Plus Shampoo 100 ml bottle has been increased by up to 15 percent.

In the soap category, the price of Lux soap has increased by 9 percent and the rate of Pierce soap has increased. The price of 125 grams of Pierce soap has increased by 2.4 percent and that of Multipack Pierce by 3.7 percent.

In the skin care segment, the price of Glow and Lovely Cream has been increased by 6-8 per cent and the price of Pond’s Talcum Powder has been increased by 5-7 per cent.

HUL had increased the prices in the last month as well.
HUL had also increased the price of its products in the last month i.e. April 2022 and had increased the price of its products by a huge amount ranging from 3 percent to 20 percent. In this, prices from skin care to detergent were increased. At that time the price of Bru coffee was increased by 3-7 percent and that of Bru coffee jar by 3-4 percent. Apart from this, the price of Taj Mahal tea was increased by 3.7-5.8 percent.
