David Warner was found guilty of ball-tampering with Bancroft and Steve Smith in the 2018 match against South Africa. After this, Cricket Australia banned David Warner and Steve Smith for one year. Apart from this, Cricket Australia had made it clear that David Warner will not be made the vice-captain of the team’s captain in future. Steve Smith was banned for two years.
