China: Two more people have been rescued alive from the rubble of a building that collapsed on Friday in central China. These people were buried under the debris for more than three days. China’s state media gave this information. Official News Agency ‘Xinhua’ reported that a man and a woman were pulled from the rubble on Monday afternoon and early Tuesday.
The woman was buried under the rubble for about 88 hours, yet she was conscious and able to talk to the rescue workers. Significantly, this six-storey building collapsed in Changsha, the capital of Hunan province, at around 12.24 pm on Friday. Police have arrested nine people including the owner of the building in this case.
Many people were arrested
According to Chinese media, apart from three people who designed and built the building, five people have also been arrested who allegedly gave false security assessment reports for the guest house between the fourth and sixth floors of the building. . When the news of the collapse of the building came, at that time more than 20 people were feared to be buried under the rubble and 39 people were reported missing.
