U.S. auto protection regulators stated Friday they’re investigating whether or not a 2020 Ford Motor Co recall for automobiles with entrance brake hoses rupturing in advance is good enough.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is opening a recall question into 1.7 million U.S. Ford 2013-2018 style 12 months Fusion and Lincoln MKZ automobiles after receiving 50 lawsuits alleging entrance brake hose screw ups. Ford recalled 488,000 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX automobiles in 2020 within the United States for brake hose screw ups.

FORD RECALLING 488K US VEHICLES OVER FRONT BRAKE HOSE ISSUE
Ford stated it will cooperate with NHTSA’s probe. NHTSA stated many lawsuits reported brake hoses are rupturing, leaking brake fluid and going on with very little caution. The protection company stated it’s acutely aware of one alleged crash because of a failed brake hose.
