Anjeer Kheer Recipe: If you like sweet food and want to make some sweet dish, then make fig pudding and eat it. It will be wonderful in taste and very nutritious. Figs contain zinc, manganese, magnesium and iron. It is also rich in fiber. This helps in keeping the bowel movement healthy. Dried figs help in reproductive health, manage blood pressure and strengthen bones. Know how to make fig kheer-


1 liter milk
10 soaked and chopped almonds
a little saffron
5 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp ghee
4 tbsp rice
12 soaked dried figs


Heat ghee in a pan. Add chopped almonds and fry for a minute.
Now wash the rice and put it in it and stir it for two minutes.
Now pour milk in the pan. Soak saffron in one to two tablespoons of water and add it to the milk kept in the pan. Keep the flame medium and let the milk come to a boil.
Cut the fig into small pieces and soak it in water for some time. After some time, drain the water and put the figs in the blender. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of water to it and make a paste by blending.
Now mix the fig paste by adding it to the milk. Keep it on low flame for 10 minutes.
Add sugar to it and mix it well and keep stirring it in between.
Serve the kheer chilled. Green cardamom powder can be added for flavor. Serve fig kheer with nuts and figs.
