America: The White House says that the US is maintaining close contact with India as part of efforts to unite the world against Russian aggression. “We are in close contact with India as part of our efforts to unite the world to stand up against Russian aggression,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in her daily press conference on Thursday. This means adhering to and implementing the sanctions that have been imposed.

He told that US Deputy Security Advisor Dilip Singh had recently visited India for talks in this regard. In response to a question, Saki said, “We are encouraging countries to raise their voice against Russian aggression. We have been a key partner in providing India with medical supplies and vaccines in times of need during the COVID-19 global pandemic over the past 15 months and we will continue to work closely with them in this regard.”

In response to another question, he said that he is confident that US President Joe Biden will visit the two ‘quad’ (quadlateral security dialogue) countries India and Australia in the future. Biden plans to visit Japan and South Korea soon.

India made important statement on Russia-Ukraine war

In the recent United Nations Human Rights Council meeting, India has made an important statement on the Russia-Ukraine war. India said that the human rights of the people of Ukraine should be protected. India said that after the discussion on the situation in Ukraine in March 2022, the situation has worsened and it has had the biggest impact on women and children. India said this during the special session of the United Nations Human Rights Council meeting. India, while keeping its point, said that our position on the Ukraine conflict has been firm and consistent. We are deeply concerned about the unfolding incidents and have always spoken of an immediate end to violence and an end to enmity.
